The idea for Nomad Balance was born from the international experience and educational background of its founder, Alexander López, which directly influenced the development of services tailored to foreigners' mental health needs. During his travels and stays, he identified the need for people, especially foreigners, to be heard and to improve their mental health, realising that language, among others, was a key factor in mitigating the deterioration of emotional well-being.

Building on his international experience and educational background, the founder developed his doctoral research to examine the complex mental health issues faced by foreigners. Based on these findings, the founder developes comprehensive interventions that help foreigners manage their personal and social transition in the host country in a healthier way.

Nomad Balance has thus established itself as a space that provides psychotherapy services and Spanish classes, specifically designed to meet the diverse needs of different populations of foreigners:

  • Migrants and asylum seekers

  • Expatriates

  • International students

  • Refugees

  • Officials, students or workers in the international field or working with foreign populations

  • People who are about to migrate

  • People with an interest in mental health and cultures
