At Nomad Balance, we use teaching methods based on the communicative approach, which emphasizes interaction as the primary means of language learning.
More specifically, we employ Task-Based Language Teaching (TBLT), which focuses on using meaningful tasks to promote language learning, the Natural Approach, which emphasizes natural communication, and other humanistic methodologies.
To support our teaching methods, we create environments of trust and comfort to overcome barriers of embarrassment and fear.
The topics that are specifically covered in class are organized into categories such as vocabulary differences, grammar, spelling, writing, academic review, and conversation.
Differences in vocabulary and phrases between regions (Spain and Latin American countries).
Grammar: morphology (adjectives, adverbs, pronouns, articles, conjunctions, interjections, and verbs), syntax (types of sentences such as interrogative or negative sentences), verb tenses, and the subjunctive.
Spelling: use of accents and punctuation marks.
Writing documents, reports, or CVs.
Reviewing academic documents such as research papers, study projects, and prevention and intervention programmes.
Conversations cover topics related to everyday life and social interactions, work, school, university, travel, and cultural differences.

Once you have completed your first trial lesson, and if the lesson met or exceeded your expectations, you can continue with individual lessons. In our individual lessons, we incorporate dynamic activities to improve your Spanish, focusing on conversation. Grammar and vocabulary are seamlessly integrated into these conversations according to your level.
The trial session is free and online, lasting 25 minutes. It provides your first contact with your teacher, allowing you to discuss your personal goals.

Below, we describe how we organise our lessons:
Duration of each lesson: 50 minutes.
Platforms: Meet, Teams, Zoom, etc. (whichever is most convenient for you).
Lesson packages: We offer monthly packages of four and eight lessons.
Price per lesson: $35 / €32.
Packages of four lessons per month = $132 / €120.
Package of eight lessons per month = $256 / €232.
Payment methods: via bank transfer or apps such as Wise or PayPal.
Cancellation policy: Cancellations or schedule changes must be made 24 hours before each lesson. If you do not show up for class, it will be considered as having taken place.
